Hot Lunch is on Me!
The Amherst Survival Center serves lunch–both hot and cold main dishes, fruit and salad--to between 55 and 90 people every weekday except Wednesday. Volunteers in our Community Kitchen do the cooking, serving and welcoming. Help support this nutritious program at the heart of the Center’s operations. In fact, come join us for lunch – you are most warmly welcomed! Over 11,000 lunches were served in 2011. Hot Lunch for 30: $65 “I was laid off from my job last year and I didn’t know that things could fall apart so quickly. The price of food has skyrocketed. Before I found the Amherst Survival Center, I would have to choose between having three meals a day or paying for heat. Lunch here is a big help.” |
